Denise Dolan is the Vice President of Development for Fisher House Foundation. At Fisher House, Denise is responsible for the fundraising operations including Individual Giving, Corporate and Foundation Relations, and Peer to Peer Fundraising. Denise graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a B.A. in Psychology. She attended the Graduate School of Education at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia for her master’s work in adult education where she focused on adult learning styles and techniques.
Prior to her work at Fisher House, Denise served the philanthropic community at The Keystone Center in Dillon, Colorado; United Nations Foundation in Washington, D.C.; and the National Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America in Bethesda, Maryland. Denise was first awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2008 and upholds the Donor Bill of Rights and the International Statement of Ethical Principles in Fundraising.
Denise is honored to serve those who serve, including those like her grandfather, a World War II veteran and her uncle, a Vietnam War veteran. “It is an honor to be here for our veterans, many like my grandfather and uncle, who did not have a Fisher House when they came home” Denise said.
Denise and her family now live in Rockville, Maryland. In her spare time, you will find her in the yoga studio.
