As verified by our most recent audit and tax return, only 2.5% of our revenue is spent on administration and fundraising. If you designate your contribution for a specific purpose or Fisher House, 100% of the donation is allocated for that purpose.

Set up a memorial fund: If you would like to have memorial donations made to Fisher House Foundation, Inc. in lieu of flowers, please call (888) 294-8560 to let us know where you would like the notifications sent.

Fisher House Foundation has received an A+ rating from Charity Watch (www.charitywatch.org) , an online charity rating guide distributed by the American Institute of Philanthropy, a nationally prominent charity watchdog service.  It is one of only two organizations appearing in the "Veterans and Military" section; the other charity being our sister foundation, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which also received an A+ rating.  

Fisher House™ Foundation has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest independent evaluator of charities for the five consecutive year. "Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that your organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in allocating and growing your finances in the most fiscally responsible way possible. Less than 4% of the charities (rated by CharityNavigator) receive at least five consecutive 4-star evaluations. Learn more

The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.  These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.  Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.
