Remke Gives Back
From August 2008 through February 2009, Remke Industries will donate 5% of all eligible product sales to the Fisher House Foundation. Our goal is to donate $100,000.00 to help support our military men, women & their families when they or a loved one face hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, injury or outpatient treatment.

The Walter Reed Auxiliary is supporting the Fisher Houses at Walter Reed Army Medical Center with a unique program. The Auxiliary is inviting the public to purchase on-line gift cards from Amazon.Com. Fallen Heroes' Ride Across America
Long-distance cycling tour from Saint Augustine, Florida to San Diego, California. Starting in March 2007, the event will be dedicated to raising awareness and funds for disabled veterans and the families of military members killed in action. The intent is to pay a symbolic tribute to the stamina, endurance and courage needed by our disabled veterans and their loved ones on their road to recovery. This fundraising book features 29 recipes from winners and runners-up in the Command of the Grill competitions held last fall. Additionally, you'll find recipes from famous former Marines. The work these charities are doing is truly worthy of a salute. Every penny of the $10 purchase price goes directly to four worthy charities that support wounded Marines and the families and the children of Marines killed in action.
In 2005, active duty and reserve Marines at 10 military installations around the country took up their tongs in the ultimate battle of the barbecue.
